Vincent J. Averaimo Appointed to Board of Fire Commissioners for City of Milford, CT

Mayor Anthony Giannattasio has appointed Vincent J. Averaimo as a Fire Commissioner for the City of Milford, Connecticut. Averaimo’s appointment received unanimous approval from the City of Milford Board of Aldermen, and he was sworn in by City Clerk Peter Smith on October 15, 2024. Under the City Charter, the Board of Fire Commissioners is responsible for organizing and maintaining the Fire Department, ensuring that its personnel are equipped to fulfill their mission effectively.
